Prem Pothina and Associates, a legal firm is headed by one and only one, Mr Prem Kumar Pothina. We are associated with his firm, since 2011-2012.  That's the time when Rajkamal Electronics Pvt Ltd was at a crossroads and clueless, in particular with regards to the financial transactions handled by both Private Banks and NBFCs, wherein their illegitimate penalties and charges were levied on us with no proper reasoning over seven to eight years and thus resulted into heavy financial burden and losses.

As an individual Mr Prem is a bit different personality to understand but as a Professional, no one is at-par to him.  Having said so, there's no one who can match his passion to the work,  strategy, his in depth research on each and every case, his drafting of suits and last but not the least, his in depth knowledge on how a banking transactions are carried out by the bankers.

We remember that on Day One, he told us that we are the strongest vault of information and master of facts with regards to our business and all related transactions.  But, in less than 15 days, he proves us wrong.  He gave a total different picture of financial handling of our own business and did find a path of resolving the issues from the same.  As seen in most of the movies, the culprits leave some or other evidences at the crime scenes, the financiers / bankers or their commitments will have elements of mistakes committed by the bankers, in the overall journey.  Mr Prem fished out and identified those errors or mistakes, and ensured that we are having edge over in all the solutions recommended by him.

During the journey of handling of all our cases with multiple bankers, we were constantly educated on how to be careful in handling the bankers and also about all the documents, in particular where we are signing and committing something for future.  He clearly drew our attention that our business model had everything in place except the exit strategy.  This was an eye opener.  We could clearly understand how important is this aspect also at this juncture. 

 

Unlike any legal advisor we appreciated the functioning part of Mr Prem.  He would meticulously go through each and every document and would do extensive research on the subject matter.  Besides preparing all his statements by himself, he would also discuss and educate his strategy.  No two cases are similar and thus he would work on each and every case with full Josh and do the justification.  Every case is personally taken up by him.  All his drafts and arguments are so clean and to the point that the opposite party has to either surrender or come to the terms set by Mr. Prem.

In fact we can vouch that Mr Prem has got us the relief,  more than what we expected.  When coming to his remunerations, it's beyond comparison.  What he charges are highly reasonable and pea-nuts in comparison to the results achieved.

We are very glad to state that our Company was bailed out from all the legal issues of multiple banks, in less than six years of time.   We could never imagine that all the Bankers were fought and arrived at One Time Settlement OTS  by Mr. Prem, not exceeding 25 – 30% of total outstanding.  This was a great amount of relief to us and was a dream come true not only for the company but also for us and to all our family members.  In short we can say that if the issues (financial, bank related) are handed over to Mr Prem, one can be totally be relaxed and be least assured.

During pre Covid time he, in order to survive did a lots of commercial changes which lead into recruiting freshers from some of the prestigious law colleges.  We are also aware and glad that the firm saw a leap jump.  Many juniors were newly recruited and training was imparted.  Mr Prem is totally different personality when it comes to training, imparting right decision taking and also at the same time sowing the seeds of how to built strong ethics and work culture.
